At Medieval Times, you are invited to travel through the mists of time to a festive celebration as guests of the Queen Maria Isabella of the Royal Court, where you’ll be in awe of the gallant knights and majestic horses battling for glory and honor.
The festivities begin with Trumpeters welcoming you as you enter the Castle and Royal Ceremonial arena. You will be seated in your team’s color-coded section, joining the team of your Knight. You and your guests will be served by your own serfs and wenches as they serve to your be-con call, serving a feast fit for a king and queen.
The main themes of this festive event are chivalry, rivalry, and revelry. Here, you’ll be able to witness first-hand the tale of devotion, courage, and love. The Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament features an electrifying show that features heroic knights on spirited horses, which display mind-blowing athletic feats of jousting battles and thrilling swordplay.
An epic tournament like no other, you will be a witness and cheering participant to the top six knights of the kingdom battling with brawn and steel to determine one victor to protect the throne. That’s not to mention the amazing musical score and brilliant lights to provide the perfect backdrop for this spellbinding experience.
The feast you’ll be able to enjoy there
The food served during the feast is described as “hands-on”, meaning you’ll be able to eat with your fingers if you like. You can also raise a goblet to the Queen! The feast consists of four courses.
To be more specific, the banquet menu consists of garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, dessert of the Castle, coffee, and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages.
